BSF has developed Policy and Procedures that deal with minimizing the risk of harming the surrounding environment, reducing waste and promoting the practice of recycling. As members of the Australian Steel Institute's Environmental Sustainability Charter, we provide evidence of our commitment to being good environmental cititzens. Membership of this Charter enables us to gain one green point under the Green Building Council of Australia's revised Steel Credit points rating system.
Industrial Relations:
As a basis for good Industrial Relations Management, BSF Workshop and site employees are covered by certified Enterprise Bargaining Agreements, which have been endorsed by relevant the Trade Unions, Fair Work Australia and the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations.
BSF promotes and strives to achieve best practice by complying with the applicable National Code of Practice for the Construction Industry – Best Practice Guidelines. |
